What is Simple (About) Birth?

Preparing for your birth can be overwhelming, but whether you choose to give birth in a hospital or at home, hiring a doula can make all the difference. In fact, adding the right doula to your support team significantly increases your chances for an adaptive, informed and positive birth experience.

At Simple Birth, our name is our objective: to help you simply give birth. Our unique approach is founded on current accepted birth support methods and strengthened by our core values of communication, education and understanding.

Communication

We believe clear, straightforward dialog between members of your birth team creates unity and strength. Your doula will work with you to plan and prepare for your birth so you can feel more confident discussing these preferences with your provider.

Education

We believe you have the right to know as much—or as little—as you want about your birth. Your doula’s role is to help you find and understand your options.

Understanding

There are many ways to welcome a baby into this world; so whether you prefer an unmedicated birth or can’t wait for the epidural, we support you.
